Kris our instructor is running the London Marathon this year as a Gold Bond runner for the national disability charity Scope which he is an ambassador for. As a wheelchair user he will be running using a standard wheelchair and hoping to beat last years time of 4hrs 54m whilst raising £4000 for Scope. As a fundraising event to help achieve this target he has decided to hold a flashmob in Hereford on Sunday 3rd April with a mass rehearsal on Sunday 13th March. To raise money those wishing to take part are asked to make a donation to his London Marathon fundraising page.
Once registered you will be invited to join a closed Facebook group where you will have access to the event information – moves and routine information, instruction video for the choreography along with all other relevant information to making this event a success as it becomes available. You don’t need to be an amazing dancer, you just need to be able to enjoy and hear the beat of the music and be able to move around as required. You won’t be expected to do somersaults or spin on one hand so don’t panic. There is also a wheelchair section incorporated into the group! Our age recommendation is 15 years or above as the tempo is quick and the group moves about in quick formation, sequences and directions.
